Delicious Thanksgiving Pumpkin Pie Recipe


  • 1 3/4 cups canned pumpkin puree
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust


  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger, and cloves. Mix well.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Gradually stir in the evaporated milk until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  5. Pour the pumpkin filling into the unbaked pie crust.
  6. Bake the pie in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
  7. Reduce the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C) and continue baking for an additional 40-50 minutes, or until a knife inserted into the center of the pie comes out clean.
  8. Remove the pie from the oven and let it cool completely on a wire rack before serving.
