Delicious Thanksgiving Pumpkin Pie Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 3/4 cups canned pumpkin puree
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger, and cloves. Mix well.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Gradually stir in the evaporated milk until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
- Pour the pumpkin filling into the unbaked pie crust.
- Bake the pie in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
- Reduce the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C) and continue baking for an additional 40-50 minutes, or until a knife inserted into the center of the pie comes out clean.
- Remove the pie from the oven and let it cool completely on a wire rack before serving.
